If I remember correctly, this couple were selling honey. I see this occasionally and have wondered about it, especially after reading about the decline of bee's and what that may mean for pollination for other crops.
There really is a built in dependency structure in nature. You can call it the food chain, if you want. I just may need to see if I can figure out how to set up a few hives. That should keep the neighbor kids away!
