Assiniboine Park: The Musician and the Artist

On June 6th, 1921, William Alloway presented a check for $100,000 to establish the Winnipeg Foundation.   It was Canada's first community foundation.   Many others have contributed over the years.   And, that foundation helped establish the Assiniboine park and zoo.   And, it help fund artwork. 

And, I liked the detail of the lute player.  That is one manly mustache!

I believe the figure below is Mr. Alloway. 

The park is beautiful and peaceful.
