Mary was at the auto show with her family and was gracious enough to let me take her photo.   Her kids were starving and were looking for food!   So, she was very kind to give me a couple of minutes.   And, the kids were great!

Chelsea calls Atlanta home.   That caught my attention.   I travel to Atlanta 3-4 times a year and it turns out she doesn't live far from my office there.  It can be a small world sometimes!

She gets to travel a lot with her job and she loves it.

Law Enforcement on the Show Floor

Meet Jeff!

Jeff was one of the team of Minnesota Highway Patrol officers at the auto show.  They were handing out a few things, brochures and things for the kids.  And, they had a car on the show floor so you could take a look it.

It was pretty interesting.   And Jeff, thanks for the very helpful information and the conversation.  I know you had a lot of people buzzing around.  I appreciate the time you spend chatting with me!

Nick has been with Toyota for about a year and loves it.  He especially enjoys being able to travel for his job.  He calls Cleveland home.  And, he is passionate about the Cleveland sports teams.  When I asked him about specific favorites, he responded, "All of them!".

Joandra calls Chicago home.  She's been a marketing specialist for a variety of companies.   Her current job keeps her traveling all over the US.  And, she loves that about her job.  She considers each trip a new adventure!

The Last Surviving Doolittle's Raider

Today is the 75th anniversary of the Doolittle Raid over Tokyo in the early stages of WWII.  In July of 2013, I was invited to attend an air show.  I actually had no idea what I would find in an air show.  But, I was eager to find out. 

Besides a variety of amazing airplanes, was a white, VIP tent.   Who could be in a VIP tent in an airshow.

Meet Dick Cole.  At the time I took this photo, he was one of 4 surviving members of the original Doolittle Raiders.  Lt Col Cole was Doolittle's co-pilot.

Today, at 101 yrs young, he is the last of the original 80 raiders.

It was my sincere pleasure to meet him, shake his hand, and thank him.

Meet Peter!

He is from Michigan and was representing Infiniti at the auto show.   Nice cars!   He makes wine and gets his grapes from Napa.   If you haven't tasted a wine grape directly from the vine, you don't know what you are missing.  They are awesome!

A NY Actress with a Passion for Mr. Bentley!

Meet Kim!

Kim has been with Hyundai for 11 years.  She loves coming to Minneapolis.  We had a long conversation about her passion for rescue dogs.   You can check out her passion for bull dogs, and bull dog rescue here.  Or, you can check out Facebook for Mr. Bentley's World.  There are wonderful photographs and video of her Mr. Bentley.  She is so passionate about rescuing bull dogs, that she raised $25,000 in a show in New York to support them.   Even Petco joined contributed!

Is it just me?  I don't get the hamsters at all.

I forgot to ask Anders about them and should have gone back.   Regardless, every time I hear the music and see the hamsters I wonder......what is with the hamsters.

Meet Brian!

Brian was visiting from Michigan.  He's been with Chevy as a product specialist for 5 yrs.  And, he loves his job.   He's a steak and potatoes guy.   Not married.  And, he was in very good shape.  I asked what he did to stay in shape, and he said he runs sprints with a parachute on his back to increase the drag.

Meet Colleen!

Colleen was on duty at the auto show when I walked by.  And, my camera equipment caught her eye.  We had a lovely conversation about doing photography.  She's a Nikon fan.  I shoot all Canon equipment.   And, she was just getting used to shooting everything in manual mode. 

Well done, Colleen!   Thank you very much for the conversation.   And, let me know how the manual mode shooting is coming along!

I have never attended a car show before.  I generally am not interested.  But, it was time to pick up some photos again.  And, it seemed like a great place.

Meet T Texas Terry!

He is the official sheriff of the auto show.  He calls Kansas City home.   But, he travels all over the US to participate in various shows.   In addition to the car shows, he is part of a Wild West show, as well!
