Meet Amy!
Amy is the proud owner of the 1973 Volkswagon, The THING!
I must admit, I like it!
Primarily portraits of people I know or with whom I cross paths. The primary reason to photograph them, is that I like them. They are interesting. They have nice smiles. They have lives with hopes and dreams. They are...Just People.
Meet James and his 1935 delivery sedan.
It is hard to believe how long corn has been along and how many lives it has saved.
And, who can blame him.
That's some good stuff, right there.
Meet Steve!
He and his mandolin and guitar playing friend form a duo in high demand in their neck of the woods. I haven't heard them playing and singing for a long time. It was a lovely way to spend an hour or more, with a good beer, some warm sun, and some great music.
Thanks Steve!
I had a chance to escape a while ago with friends and found a lovely outside bar. It was nice to listen to some smooth vocals. It is a tough gig being a solo act. On the other hand, you don't have to put up with the mess of other people's schedules.
She did a great job. And I learned about fretboard decals that really dress up a guitar neck! They can really dress up the guitar neck without the cost of mother-of-pearl inlay work!
On my travels, I happened upon a nice quiet restaurant. It was a bit early for lunch so the place was very deserted.
She had a lovely smile and had a great recommendation for food!
THANK YOU!
You are looking great for being 90! As I was thinking back over the years, I realized I never should have tied you up to the clothesline pole in the backyard and let the neighbor kids pile sticks around you and play "burn her at the stake". I think there are a few other things I owe you an apology for!
But you are tough, I will give you that!
