Riley Gaines

 I had a wonderful opportunity to hear Riley Gaines speak earlier this summer.  She was kind, gentle, very well spoken.   And her message was powerful.

Everyone should hear it.  No one should ever be threatened and have their life turned upside down because they speak a biological fact.

The AZ Gathering: Action Pistol

 While wandering around the Arizona Fish and Game event earlier this year, I stumbled up Action Shooting!  I had never seen that before.   Think...cowboys and cowgirls riding horses and shooting at balloons through a course of fire.

This was one of the very lovely cowgirls.   She was a great shot, too!

High Power and Friends of the NRA

 

Meet Chistopher!

He is on the JR High Power team.   High Power shooting uses targets set at 200, 300 and 600 yards.  I believe the 200 yard targets are smaller to compensate for the shorter distance.  It's serious shooting!

And meet Tim.  He is with the Friends of the NRA.  They hold fund raising events and awareness events throughout the nation.

Arizona DNR Event: The 1852 Sharps 45-70

 I've heard of them.  But I do not recall ever seeing one.  A marvelous weapon for some long range shooting "back in the day".

I ran into Larry and Marci at the Fish and Game event in Arizona.   I found them delightful and was very pleased to learn that Marci was champion Trap shooter!  And she instructs now!
