One of the areas outside of the Magic House consists of a large, shallow flowing stream. It is perfect for kids drawn to water. They tend to wade right in with mothers close behind worrying about shoes getting wet, etc. The kids don't care about that. They see the magic of the water.
So, I was a bit dismayed when I noticed what appeared to be ducks flowing with the current.
Yes...ducks. But, something was wrong. They weren't moving!
OMG! It had been duck hunting season and someone blasted the poor little duckies!!
The children were sobbing. It was so sad.
