Winnipeg Human Rights Museum: The Cyrus Cylinder

I am willing to grant that this doesn't look like much.   But, this is a reproduction of the 2500 year old Cyrus Cylinder, from Babylon (present day Iraq). 

This records the religious freedoms proclaimed by Persian conqueror Cyrus the Great.   Imagine that...religious tolerance 2500 years ago in the Middle East.
