Primarily portraits of people I know or with whom I cross paths. The primary reason to photograph them, is that I like them. They are interesting. They have nice smiles. They have lives with hopes and dreams. They are...Just People.

The Odds and Ends Show
Meet Olivia.
To be fair, I can't recall which of these persons is Olivia. I attended a one day conference in Minneapolis called something like Odds and Ends and Curiosities. I can't even remember the name of the conference.
But Olivia was there selling some of her paintings!
It was a pleasure meeting you both!

The 2A Supporters Gathering
I try to stay out of politics as much as possible. I generally don't think there is much I can do to influence either of the political parties. But, with the various issues heating up in the political realm, I thought it would be interesting to attend a Second Amendment Supporters gathering at the state capitol
My knees were really bothering me. So, I decided to take a position on the second level.
It was interesting. Various people spoke, including community and political leaders. I was rather intrigued with the small number of law enforcement personnel. Certainly some where there. But, they largely remained out of site...and were helpful when asked for directions. A large number of people were open carrying. And, this is perfectly legal in MN. Note the gentleman in the wheel chair to the right on the upper photo. It was a polite and informed gathering.

The MN State Capitol Building
Sometimes you get inspired to go to the capitol and see what all the fuss is about. You get to see where politicians debate and create laws and usually infringe upon your freedoms. So I went.
To be fair, this photo was taken in early 2019. MN doesn't look like this in September. Well, not very often, anyway.
